WEEK 2
This was my last week of Home MTC! My next adventure awaits. Here are some highlights from the week﹣
- Celebrated the 4th of July with family and friends. I only had MTC for half of the day so I was able to join in on all of the 4th of July festivities. Ate some good barbecue with my family and watched fireworks from the top of a parking structure with siblings and friends.
- I'm understanding Spanish a little better. Still can't speak it so me and another elder continue to get picked on by the instructors haha. But our new instructor gives us 10 minute breaks﹣which is way nice. And in our Spanish breakout rooms, I always get paired up with the only other elder who never took Spanish and Hermana Webb﹣who has become our Spanish tutor.
- My grandma had us over for a pancake lunch this week. She seriously makes the best pancakes in the world.
- Had my farewell party. Thank you to everyone who came out to support me and say goodbye.
- Ate my favorite meals every night and spent my free time with family & friends. Went bowling with my family and Max. Tate destroyed us all with five straight strikes. Had an outdoor movie night, played tennis, spikeball & home run derby, blew up some water bottles and basketballs, made a massive slip-n-slide and had some spontaneous 7-11 and In-N-Out runs with friends. It's been a great week.
- Took missionary photos with my friends who are also leaving on missions this summer.
- Got packed up for my next adventure﹣Mexico City MTC then on to serve in Pachuca, Mexico.
Hope your week was as good as mine!
