WEEK 82

This week was really good! Here are the highlights —

- FHE
On Tuesday, we had a Family Home Evening with the ward. There were prolly 70 people there by the time we finished. We talked about how to be a good person and the Spirit was so strong. We had kids 12 and 14 year olds who were crying. It was such a cool experience to see how many hearts were touched and changed. We followed the lesson with an activity to show how much we need everyone and that we are stronger together. And afterwards, we munched on some bread and milk.

- LEADERSHIP MEETING
This Friday, we also had our leadership meeting at President's house. We talked a lot about how important obedience is and how God blesses us when we're obedient. They also talked a lot about how everyone is watching us as missionaries and members. And we need to remember to be an example to others. We ate some spaghetti with meatballs and bread. Honestly, it was prolly the best pasta I've ever had here on the mission. Then we talked to President a bit about a few issues and then hopped on the bus to get home. It was a super long day. We arrived at 9 and left at 6:30.

- DINNER
On Sunday night, we had all of the elders in our district over for dinner. We played UNO for like 2 hours and only got two games in. I swear, they've got so many types of UNO in Mexico that I've never seen and this type took like an hour. It definitely got a little competitive and there was a lot of arguing but it was actually pretty fun. Then, we munched on some chilaquiles that my comp and I made. We accidentally made it way too spicy. We never tried it before we served it to the other elders. Everyone ended up dying from how hot it was and we went through 3 liters of milk with just 6 elders. Then we munched on some dessert, played more games, and then had a long night of reporting.

-FRIENDS
These past few weeks, we have seen so many miracles. Like for some reason everyone we have been teaching or were teaching is now ready. Like some girl's boyfriend dumped her, so now she can get baptized. And another guy just changed jobs so now he can go to church. A lot of small things have been lining up so we have been able to put a lot of people on date. I prolly won't be here for a lot of their baptisms, but it's just nice to know that they are gonna get baptized.

Anyways, hope your week was as good as mine.

Love you all!!

We had them weave their strands together

Then combined all of them

Showing them how strong they are when they all contribute and work together. Everyone is needed.
