This week was really good! Here are the highlights — - FHE On Tuesday, we had a Family Home Evening with the ward. There were prolly 70 people there by the time we finished. We talked about how to be a good person and the Spirit was so strong. We had kids 12 and 14 year olds who were crying. It was such a cool experience to see how many hearts were touched and changed. We followed the lesson with an activity to show how much we need everyone and that we are stronger together. And afterwards, we munched on some bread and milk. - LEADERSHIP MEETING This Friday, we also had our leadership meeting at President's house. We talked a lot about how important obedience is and how God blesses us when we're obedient. They also talked a lot about how everyone is watching us as missionaries and members. And we need to remember to be an example to others. We ate some spaghetti with meatballs and bread. Honestly, it was prolly the best pasta I've ever had here on the mission. Then we talk...

These past weeks have been really good. Here are the highlights — - THREE KINGS DAY In Mexico, they celebrate Three Kings' Day. A lot of kids don't get presents on Christmas, but they get them on Three Kings' Day. They also eat something called Rosca de Reyes. It's a huge donut looking bread and they hide little plastic baby Jesuses inside. When you cut it open, if your slice has a baby Jesus, you have to buy tamales for everyone. We went and visited two different families and one of the times my piece had a baby Jesus inside so now I gotta buy them some tamales. - EXCHANGES We also had exchanges this week. I was with Elder Bailey in my area. He's the district leader of one of the districts in our zone and over all, he's a super good elder.  We got a lot of work done and saw tons of miracles. For lunch, we went to a member's house who had two dogs. After lunch, we walked like 40 minutes to a lesson and her two dogs followed us. We tried to get rid of them, b...

Had a great week! Here are the highlights — - ZONE CONFERENCE We had our Christmas Zone Conference. It was the best zone conference I've been to. They had a Christmas program so we heard a bunch of Christmas stories and sang a bunch of songs. After, we played a bunch of games and broke a piñata. We had secret santas and I got a poncho that I now wear to bed every night cuz it's freakin cold here! Our mission president gave everyone gifts and then I got some from my parents. - NAVIDAD It was super cool to spend my last Christmas here in Mexico. I was in a trio so it felt kinda weird but it was super fun! We honestly did nothing for Christmas day but Christmas Eve, we went to a member's house and played a bunch of soccer. Then  I had to check in with all the companionships in my zone, but after, we had pasole! We finished by playing one of the most intense games of Uno I have ever played.
