WEEK 73
This week was really good. Here are the highlights —
- FRIDAY
On Friday, we had a family history themed meeting for our stake. All of the missionaries came and I loved meeting all of the brand new missionaries that had arrived in our mission the day before. We got to sing a song from the movie, Coco, called El Latino de mi Corazon. We actually sounded a lot better than I thought cuz we only had like 15 minutes to practice before the meeting. And also, I got to be in a skit. We reenacted a video called Esperando esperando that's about a guy who dies and is in the spirit world. I was casted as one of the missionaries in the spirit world and I think I actually did well. Got to sign a few autographs after, so I felt pretty good.

- P-DAY
This p-day was super fun. Monday was also the celebration of the start of the civil war here in Mexico. Because it was a national holiday, schools were closed and they held a parade. There were probably 5 or 6000 people that came out. And as we were walking to the church, some guy on a float (I think he might have been the mayor or something) called us over and asked us to get on the float with him, so we did. There were prolly like 3000 people at this time. The guy had a microphone and asked the parade attenders to listen to us cuz we had something important to say then he handed us the microphone. I looked at my comp assuming he would speak, but he just had a dead face and wouldn't say a word. So then I got up and said a few words. It was super cool to see everyone and to talk little bit about God and His church in front of everyone. Then after, I prolly got like 30 marriage proposals so not gonna lie, it boosted my confidence a bit. Then we got to church and played soccer and basketball for like 6 hours outside and then we ate Little Caesars and played with some nerf guns. It was good day.
