WEEK 44

10 MONTHS!!! And bonus — last week was a great week. Here are some highlights —

- THE CHASE
Some guy snagged a cop car and sped away. There were a whole bunch of cop cars chasing after him. About every hundred yards, on Mexican streets, they have speed bumps — so this car booked it down the flat parts of the road and then went flying off the speed bumps. It was quite a show. Not sure how it ended because eventually the car went onto the other side of the road and drove out of our sight. It was crazy!

- PDAY
This p-day was super fun. All the youth in our ward had the day off so six of us elders went and played some basketball and soccer with them. It felt good to compete and be physical again. It's been so long.

- THE DISTRICT
For whatever reason, I have the world's hardest district. We always have problems. One night, I called a companionship of sisters to check on them. They had to call me back because they were talking with a sister in the ward. Her husband had been abusing her so when they asked me what to do I said it was their responsibility to report it to their bishop, which they did. Now the husband is prolly getting excommunicated so he started stalking the sisters and threatening them. So then they had to move houses. I had to stay up til like 1 communicating with the assistants, Presidente and the hermanas. Hopefully next week will be less eventful, but who knows.

Anyways, hope your week was as good as mine.

Love you all!!!

When we ate the tacos that were so good. They were pork & beef.

Exchanges with my man, Elder Morales. He's our zone leader from Peru. He legit knows any and everything about the gospel.

Our bishop is at the top left. This is when we ate with him and his family.
