WEEK 41
This week was pretty good. Here are some highlights —
- TEACHING
We didn't find too many people this week but we are helping a lot of our people progress. A lot of our friends are doing well. The problem is they all live at least an hour from our chapel and they don't have the money to travel or a car. That is the hard part right now. So if you could add them to your prayers, we'd appreciate it. But other than that, everyone is doing really well.

- P-DAY
Two good things on p-day. The first one was a hike. We woke up before the sun to meet our zone. It was more like a walk than a hike and it wasn't the most scenic hike, but it was definitely a change from our normal activity. The problem was our zone is horribly out of shape. During the steeper parts, I literally had to boost the sisters up so they could get to the next level. And then, on the way down, they refused to go because of the steepness (it was like a 3 foot drop & they didn't want to hurt themselves). And again — because I'm the biggest one there, everyone else decided I should be the one to carry every sister down the steepest portion — by myself. Isn't that against the rules?!! Wouldn't complain if that was my last hike with this zone.
We also had a barbecue with some recent converts. It was so much fun and we had so much food. The two best things we ate were ant eggs and rabbit. The ant eggs were actually really good and they would just pop in your mouth. They kinda looked like maggots. The rabbit was so good though. It tasted kinda like grilled chicken and it was super good with molé BBQ sauce.

Also, just thought I would add this — if anyone wants a pet crocodile there is a pet store here selling one for $100. It's a really good deal and I would totally buy it, but you know... mission rules. Not allowed to have pets on the mission. But it is actually a legit crocodile. They said it should grow up to 3 or 4 feet. We are trying to convince all the people we talk to here to buy it, but so far, there aren't any takers.
Anyways, hope your week was as good as mine.
