WEEK 38

This was a really good week with some super cool experiences. Here are the highlights —

- TEACHING
We have a lot of people progressing. Four families and two single moms — all with the desire to be baptized.

- GROUP MEETING
The best part of this week was definitely our first group meeting in Teofani. A group is just a smaller branch. At transfers, our ward was divided and then two groups were created in addition to the split. Since members in Teofani have to drive 45 minutes to church, this was a huge blessing. It was such a spiritual experience. I got to bless the sacrament, give a talk and teach Sunday School. Afterwards, we went and ate at a sister's house and it was absolute gas. We had barbacoa and grilled chicken. Also, for the first time on my mission, they made mac and cheese.

- Alright I got one cool experience
We were walking through some fields — so there was nothing around. And all of a sudden, it started to downpour and we got absolutely soaked. Then we heard some thunder and then lightning struck — hit a huge tree like 15 yards from us. It scared the absolute crap out of us; I've never ran so fast in my life. Like both me and my comps' faces were bright white right when the lightning hit. I've never seen anything like it before.

Anyways, hope your week was as good as mine.

Love and miss you all,
- Elder Fuller
