WEEK 34
We are definitely putting in the miles here in Actopan and getting very well acquainted with the area. Here's how are week went —
- THIS WEEK
Alright. I'm gonna be completely honest. This week was absolute crap. We worked our butts off and were literally 100% obedient, with little results. But I guess sometimes life gets rough. On Monday, we had 43 lessons scheduled for the week and by the end of the week we had only given 5 lessons. No one wanted to hear us which lowkey hurts. And to make things even worse, Sunday was awful.

- SUNDAY
No friends showed up at church and then we went and found a family of 7! Excellent! And then they fed us. Bruh, it was prolly the worst food I've eaten here. It was cow skin soup but the skin still had hair on it. It shouldn't even count as food but it's Mexico so you can pretty much call whatever you want food. And it was freakin' spicy; I still can't taste. Then after, I gotta talk to my fam and that was cool. My parents are doing great, Tate absolutely destroyed in his lacrosse game, Gabrielle is finding some hotties up at BYU, and I got no clue about Brooke. She doesn't really like to talk to me and I highly doubt that she's reading this so it's all good if I say this. Then after I talked to my parents, we were leaving the chapel and I shut the secretary room's door and then we realized the keys were in there. So then we went to call the zone leaders to come and unlock it, but the phone was in there. So then we went all James Bond mode. We literally tried everyway to get in. We picked the lock, tried hitting off the doorknob, and then finally we climbed through the ceiling but it turns out this room is Fort Knox. Someone broke in about a month ago so they redid it and now it's just a huge cement cube. Literally, the ceiling and the walls are cement so we couldn't get in. So then we had to break a screen from another window just to get out and then hop the fence to the church. I also ripped my pants jumping the fence and they were from my suit so that kinda made the day even worse. And we had to take the screen to the house cuz we don't want anyone to see the broken screen. We finally got to the zone leader's house and they came and helped us, so now we're all good. So yep, this week was tough but we always got the next week to do better.

Hope your week was much better than mine.
