WEEK 32

Well this week was really weird —

On Monday, we put a family of four on date for baptism and that was super cool. February 25th. They love the gospel and are progressing a lot. Tuesday and Wednesday, we worked hard and found a ton of people with massive potential. But then Wednesday night, we got a call from President saying they needed to make an emergency transfer. He said there was a problem with another companionship and I was the solution. So Thursday morning, we drove to another area and switched comps, so now I'm in an area called Actopan. It's super cool. Basically has lots of similarities to Tizayuca (my first area), only we're north of Pachuca, not south. There is a ton of work here and in the upcoming months, they will be opening 1 ward, 2 branches and 3 groups — so it should be good. We share the ward with 2 other companionships of elders so it's always a good time.

One funny story cuz I always gotta have at least one. On Wednesday, we were walking past a fair when I saw a taser for sale for 220 pesos, or like 12 dollars. So you know I had to buy it. Then at night, when the zone leaders were in their zoom meeting, my comp grabbed the taser and tased one of them on the neck. The ZL got mad, grabbed the taser and tased my comp back. So for a few minutes, during the meeting, we kept on tasing each other. And of course, the zone leaders understandably had to end the meeting early so we could battle. At one point, my comp was getting chased by one of the zone leaders so he ran into the bathroom, accidently knocked off the top of the toilet and it shattered in the shower and destroyed the shower tiles so now the one and only shower in the house is not usable. And then later, the other zone leader was getting chased by my comp and jumped up to dodge him and nailed his head on a light bulb and the light bulb shattered. Safe to say that the taser is easily my best purchase so far.

Anyways, hope your week was as good as mine!

Love you all,
- Elder Fuller

Not too many photos this week since most of the ones we took are still on the phone in Presas.
