WEEK 29
This week, we didn't really do much, but two really cool things happened —
THE SLAP
The first is I got slapped in the face by a very large woman. After church, we talked to an investigator that showed up at church. We had never met before so I asked her what her name is. She said Lucy. I told her my dog's name is Lucy and she slapped me across the face. Apparently, that's the meanest thing you can say to a Mexican — that your dog has their same name. I don't know know why, cuz it's only a name, but yeah, she slapped me. It didn't hurt, just shocked me. So yeah, if you meet a Mexican who has the same name as your dog, don't tell them.

THE BUS DRIVER
The other super cool thing that happened is that my bus driver got in a fight. We were driving to Pachuca when our bus pulled over. I was already sitting on the passenger side near the front, so I had a great seat to watch. I looked out the window and saw someone pull his car over, walk out and then shove our bus driver. But then the bus driver clocked him in the face. Then the other dude got in a few punches (like teeth went flying) and he broke the bus driver's nose. Then the bus driver whipped out some karate kick moves and pinned the other guy down. He got on top of the other guy and started punching him in the face. Some people finally ran over and helped. Then the bus driver just got back on the bus with a broken (crooked) nose and blood all over his jacket, closed the door and started driving again, acting like nothing happened. The bus was silent. No one said a word about it.
So yeah, that was my week. Hope yours was as good as mine!
Love you all,
Elder Fuller
