WEEK 24

Big shout out to my sister who finishes her mission this week and to my dad who has a birthday this week. Been a great week here in Tizayuca. Here are some of the highlights —

- LESSONS
Our lessons were really good this week. We had 38 lessons so that was super exhausting but also really rewarding. We got a lot of people super close to baptism. This week we wanna put 2 or 3 more people on date.

- THE FOOD
The food this week was weirdly good. We had pozole twice which is just a soup with a kind of meat and then some rice things and whatever else u wanna put in it. We had chilaquiles which are prolly my favorite food. It's just soggy chips with salsa and meat. And we had gorritos which are so good. Basically it's a closed taco with a bunch of meat and rice and beans and vegetables in it. I also ate chicken feet which was horrible. It tasted fantastic but there's a hundred little bones you have to get out with your mouth so that by the end you just end up swallowing all of them cuz it's too much work.

- CAMBIOS
Me and my comp finally got split apart. I'm now companions with a Mexican elder named Elder Guzmán and he's super cool. He's been on his mission for about a year and is always super happy and funny. It will be nice to only speak in Spanish. I'm hoping that will help a lot. For those of you who care, my old comp became a zone leader in a new zone.

Hope your week was as good as mine!

Love,
Elder Fuller

Elder Berquist is my mission "dad" since he's the one who trained me.

First time shaving on the mission.

With some of our favorites in Tizayuca (notice our twinning).

Alberto. We are teaching him. He gave us the ties we are wearing.

...And this was at our house this week.
