WEEK 18
TWO milestones this week. I had my 19th birthday AND I hit my four month mark on the same day. Here are some highlights from the week —
- BAPTISM
We had a baptism for Berenice and it was so cool! Everything went perfect — which was super clutch. You could feel the Spirit so strong. I was able to baptize her too so that was really cool.

- MY BIRTHDAY
It was a really good day. We started out by making pancakes with cake batter and those were so good. Then I opened up my birthday presents and went to the church to talk to my family. We had a few lessons and then went to eat at a member's house. The Sisters were supposed to meet us there but since they hadn't arrived yet, we went and knocked doors for a bit. But then one neighbor called the cops. So they came and escorted us out, which kinda sucked but also made the day that much more memorable. And don't worry, we went back and ate at Sister Escalante's. She bought a cake for me; it was so good. Then we had a bunch more lessons and ended the night playing chess.

- DAY OF THE DEAD
We went to a church activity this weekend to celebrate el Día de los Muertos. We got there and helped clean and set everything up. After we walked through all the rooms in the church cuz they were each for a different family then we went to the stage area and watched people dance. Then we had dinner followed by a trunk or treat. It was so fun.

Hope your week was as good as mine!
