WEEK 17
Alright, this week was so average. We didn't really do much, but here are some of the highlights —
- LESSONS
The lessons were actually pretty good. We got one of our investigators ready for her baptism that is this Friday. We also put five other people on date. Four are from one family and the other is their friend. The mom and dad are on date and two of their daughters. Also, we found a family who is really special. The mom and three of her kids were walking around with a snow cone cart so (you know me) I had to buy one and now we are teaching the whole family. The mom has nine kids ages 11 months - 21 and the dad died last month. They are a very special family.
- INTERVIEWS
Tuesday was a long day. We had district council and President and both assistants came. We had a lesson then contacted. Then we went with our whole zone to eat tortas and then came back to the church to have interviews. My interview was supposed to be at 3:50 but I didn't have one until 8:15. I had to wait at the church the whole time. It was actually pretty fun cuz I got to talk to the assistants and our district.
- P-DAY
Today was so fun. We went up to Pachuca to play soccer. We played for two hours and by the end everyone was so dead. It was a really good game though. We ended up tying 8-8. After, we came back to our area and ate with our district at a pretty nice restaurant. My only complaint is that utensils are useless. I accidently flung a whole piece of steak onto one of the Hermanas when I tried cutting my steak. Would've been way easier to just use my hands.
Hope your week was as good as mine!
Love you all!
