This week was really good. Here are the highlights — - SERVICE This week we got to do a bunch of service. On Tuesday, we got to help one of our investigators clean out the area where his roosters lives. He fights roosters so he has to keep them super clean and healthy. It was basically just washing all their crap off and then their cages and food bowls. It was pretty fun. We got to watch 2 of them fight, but they were wearing protection on their talons so nothing happened. On Saturday, we got to put up Christmas lights for one of the sisters that got baptized. It prolly took like 3 hours, but the lights looked gorgeous after, so it was worth it. Plus, she made us a huge breakfast when we finished! - CAMBIOS Well my comp went home in time for Christmas, so now I'm in a trio with 2 other elders. On Friday, we drove my comp to Pachuca and got to see the other elders who were going home too. Then we came back and grabbed my stuff and I moved in with the other elders. It honestly feels ...

This was a super good week. Here are the highlights — - INTERCAMBIOS This week I got to go on 2 sets of exchanges. I stayed in my area both times which was super nice cuz that meant we got to work a lot. I was first with Elder Matute. He's from Honduras and he's a stud of a missionary. Learned a ton with him. Then I was with Elder Bailey, which was super cool. He's struggling a bit and I'm glad I got to help him learn a bit more about the mission. - STAKE CHRISTMAS PARTY On Friday night, we had a stake Christmas party. It was just a bunch of people dancing and playing music. It was super cool cuz all the kids in the stake know how to dance and they taught me how to. Also, our zone sang twice. The first time we sounded insane, prolly better than the Tabernacle Choir. But then the 2nd time was a surprise and we had no time to practice. We sounded like absolute crap, but you can't really blame us cuz we definitely aren't professionals. After, we got a bunch of KFC ...

This week was super good. Here are the highlights — - ZONE CONFERENCE This week we had zone conference. We had to wake up at like 6, which sucked cuz the night before the other elders stayed at our house and we stayed up til 3 playing Risk so I was absolutely dead, but it was worth it cuz we had a good time playing. But the zone conference focused a lot on how everyone is important...how every act of service makes a difference in someone's life. Going home, I felt a huge desire to help everyone I saw. We rode home as a zone and the bus driver was nuts! He was going like 85 and there was some traffic but this guy had the best maneuvering skills I have ever seen. But also, the back door wouldn't shut cuz it was broken so I had to stand in front of the door so that no one, especially the missionaries (cuz most of us had to stand since all the seats were taken), would fall out. Prolly like 3 or 4 times, a missionary would fall on me cuz of the crazy driving and I would save them fr...

Had a great week. Here are the highlights — - INTERCAMBIOS This week we had exchanges. It was super fun! I got to work with an elder named Elder West. He's the district leader in Zumpango and is from Utah. It was kinda nice having a white comp cuz it's been like 9 months since I've been with a white person. We got to work a bunch and he prolly taught me more than I taught him. He's a super good missionary and he's gonna help our zone so much. In the mornings, we went and played basketball which was fun. I absolutely sucked cuz I haven't played in like 2 years but we're gettin a little better everyday. - LEADERSHIP TRAINING On Friday, we went to President's house to have leadership training. It was super cool to get to see how the mission is doing. In the training, they talked a lot about how every missionary needs to be converted before they can convert anyone and how knowledge doesn't mean that someone's converted.
