WEEK 55

These past two weeks have been super good. Here are the highlights — - BAPTISM We had the baptism of Mayra and of Oscar & Miriam!! The baptism of Mayra was a miracle. She needed to get married and the missionaries have spent the last three years trying to persuad them to marry.  We just showed up one day and asked them to get married and they said YES!! I definitely learned from this experience that God's timing is perfect!! Oscar & Miriam were a miracle too!! Their dad was baptized thirteen years ago and then went inactive. He felt the need to come back and sent us a text!! Three weeks later, we baptized his kids and are just waiting for them to get married so we can baptize his wife! - TRANSFERS We had transfers and there's not much to it!! I had my fifth transfer here in Actopan!! But I'm super happy cuz I love it here and I'm so down to just buy a house and live here. But they also cut my district in half so now I only have six elders instead of eight elders...

Our other baptism is a different mom. Her whole family are members, but again, she wasn't married to her husband. And finally, this week, after two years of missionaries working with her, she got married!! Now she can get baptized. Wednesday — On Wednesday, the sisters in another area had a baptism. A member of the seventy came down to baptize the two people because apparently, they are...
