WEEK 92

Had such a great week. Here are the highlights — - SERVICE This week we did a bunch of service! We had to help some guy clean out his fish pond. He hadn't cleaned it in 3 years so I was up to the middle of my shin in fish crap and dirt. We spent like 4 hours cleaning and didn't even get halfway through. Then we went and helped our neighbor at his water plant. We had to fill up like 500 water jugs. He also pulled a prank on me and put a wire in the water and then asked me to grab something out of the water. I didn't see the wire and touched the water and got electrocuted! For like 5 seconds I was shaking uncontrollably and then just stopped. Actually felt pretty cool. We prolly spent like 3 hours filling up 6 or 7 trucks with the water! - PDAY Last p-day we went on a hike as a district. I'm not even sure what the end was cuz they weren't waterfalls but they were pretty cool. It was so nice there cuz there was a breeze and it was like 70 degrees. We gotta take a nap o...

Such a great week! Here are the highlights — - PDAY Last pday, we got to go to the zoo here! It was the saddest thing I've ever seen in my life. There were prolly 5 different animals. I felt bad cuz there were a pair of jaguar cubs just sitting in their stall bored out of their mind. So I broke a lil bit of wooden fence and started playing tug of war with them. They were surprisingly strong even though they were only 3 months old. We gotta see some peacocks, bears, geese from Canada, and reindeer. I felt bad for the animals but couldn't really do anything about it. - INTERCAMBIOS This week we had intercambios with Mixquiahuala. I went there with Elder Brienholt. It was a super good 2 days. My guy is insane. He is 24 and before the mission, he had a business that was making close to $1,000,000 a year. But then he decided to serve a mission and help the people here. Huge respect for him. We were able to put someone on date and had a bunch of good lessons. I also ate tacos for din...

WEEK 88

This week was really good. Here are the highlights — - FARMING On Saturday, we helped a man with his farming! We were contacting and we found this guy who needed our help in his fields. I got to drive a John Deer tractor to help gather all the alfalfa! Worked for like 2 and a half hours. We had to put all the alfalfa in a machine to form it into the right shape and then had to load all of them onto a truck. By the time we finished, I was so tired and just wanted to take a nap. - MEXICO CITY On Wednesday, we went to Mexico City with over 1000 other missionaries to see Elder Suarez! It was such a cool experience. The Spirit was so strong the whole time and I actually learned a bunch. A few members of the seventy also talked. It took a whole day, but it was so worth it. Elder Suarez talked about how we need to be able to find joy in missionary work or we're never going to be able to make a real impact on others. - MISSIONARY WORK When I arrived a couple of weeks ago in Presas, the who...
